Episerver & Optimizely are uniting as one company, combining existing products and solutions. As a result, the former Episerver plugin is now Optimizely.
How does this help Siteimprove customers?
The integration allows you to access Siteimprove features from within Optimizely, so you can easily optimize your websites and digital assets, helping you prioritize and delegate tasks to optimize internal workflows. The unique ability to check content before it’s published, after it’s live, or get insights into the consequences of unpublishing a page ensures error-proof websites. Once an issue is detected and fixed, easily re-check the page to see it needs further attention.
The Siteimprove CMS Add-On provides insights into*:
- Misspellings and broken links
- Readability
- Accessibility
- Customized Policies
- SEO, including technical, content, UX, and mobile
- Page visits and page views
- Feedback rating and comments
- Consequences of unpublishing a page
- URL shortener data and its impact on your digital assets
*Data shown in the Siteimprove CMS plugin depends on the Siteimprove services you’re subscribed to.
The plugin proactively helps you check and identify errors before content is published, so you can make informed decisions about what to optimize before pushing a page live.
With the Siteimprove integration, you can see potential errors directly in Optimizely. Once errors are resolved, your content will be recrawled to see how the page has improved.
Un-publish checks
Use the plugin to see the possible consequences of unpublishing a page. For example, see if users would lose access to important documents if you unpublish a particular page, making it possible to make informed changes on the go. Read more about how the CMS plugins work
